THIS HAS THE VERY EARLY DOTTED SMOOTH REEL FOOT WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER 750 4 0 4 AND IS STAMPED NICE AND DEEP. THE SPOOL RELEASE PUSHES EASILY AND SNAPS BACK STRONG! IT HAS SOME WEAR MARKS ALONG THE TOP EDGE OF THE RIM AS SEEN IN THE PICS! THESE ARE CONSIDERED NORMAL FOR WHAT IS TYPICALLY SEEN ON AN EARLY MODEL LIKE THIS. THIS VINTAGE ABU GARCIA MODEL 5000 B WITH THE BAIT CLICKER SWITCH IN THE RED FINISH AND IS IN PROPER WORKING CONDITION BUT WILL NEED A GOOD CLEANING! THE HANDLES REEL FINE BUT YOU GET A LITTLE MIN OR CHATTER AND I THINK THE HANDLE IS VERY SLIGHTLY BENT. IT HAS A COUPLE OF VERY LIGHT NICK SPOTS BUT NO ACTUAL"RASHING" THAT ARE NORMALLY SEEN ON AN EARLY MODEL LIKE THIS.
